Congratulations to Cliona McRobert, Lorna Clarson and Gemma Mansell for brilliant presentations during the NIHR School for Primary Care Research showcase meeting in Oxford on 26th September. We had a great turnout from our centre with many other staff and students preparing fantastic posters, including Jenny Liddle's poster titled 'Diagnosis and treatment of Gout in Primary Care: A qualitative study of patient experience, which was awarded third prize in the best poster competition.
Also definitely worthy of a mention was PhD student Dan Green's performance during the elevator pitch competition at the meeting of NIHR and MRC early career research methodologists that won him 2nd prize, when all the other award winners were post doc researchers.
